(a) Conductor material : Electrolytic grade Copper with 99.99% Purity & Shall conform to
IS 8130
(b) Insulation : Flame Retardant Low Smoke PVC insulation with PVC outer sheathed
(c) Critical Oxygen Index : More than 29% and the wire shall meet the specification
given in ASTM – D2863
(d) Temperature Index : More than 300° C and the wire shall meet the
specification given in ASTM – D 2863 & BICC Hand
book Chp.No.6
(e) Indian Standard : Cables shall conform to IS 694-1990
(f) Quality Standard : ISI/ISO 9002 Certified cables are preferred
(g) Make of the Cables : Anchor/Finolex/Polycab/Mescab/Havells or Equivalent make
